These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of WalkTask, a mobile application ("App") developed and operated by us. By using WalkTask, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use WalkTask with the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You may be required to register an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
“WalkCoins” are virtual exchange units that users of the WalkTask application may generate through verified physical activity (e.g., steps). WalkCoins can be redeemed for prizes, products, and benefits, and may also be used as credit to participate in games within the WalkTask app for a chance to win grand prizes.
We reserve the right to destroy WalkCoins if we have reason to believe they were obtained through cheating, automation, fraud, or any other means that violate our policies.
WalkCoins have no cash value and cannot be used for real currency transactions, transfers, or trades unless explicitly stated otherwise.
WalkTask may offer opportunities to earn WalkCoins by completing specific tasks, such as downloading apps, watching videos, or participating in surveys. We reserve the right to change tasks, reward amounts, and eligibility criteria at our sole discretion.
You may not use the App for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise prohibited activity under these Terms, including but not limited to:
- Using automated tools (e.g., bots, scripts) to generate steps or task completions unnaturally;
- Interfering with or disrupting the normal operation of the App;
- Registering accounts with false information or faking location data;
- Harassing, abusing, or impersonating others in any form.
WalkTask may provide a feature called “Team Walking,” allowing users to form or join walking teams to earn additional WalkCoins through cooperative activity.
Team Creation and Participation: Users may create or join teams within the app. Each user may participate in only one team at a time. Team size limits may be set and adjusted by WalkTask as needed. Team members can be invited or join through public recruitment.
Team Leader Rights and Responsibilities: The creator of the team is the leader and has permissions to remove members, dissolve the team, set goals, etc. The leader is responsible for the team's behavior. In case of violations, members’ WalkCoins may be deducted or invalidated.
Activities and Distribution: WalkTask may assign team challenge tasks, such as step count goals or consecutive active days. Upon achieving goals, rewards will be distributed based on WalkTask’s rules.
Violation Handling: If a team member is found to be faking steps, engaging in false activity, or abusing features, WalkTask may cancel rewards, freeze the team, or permanently ban the involved account(s).
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time and for any reason (including violations of these Terms) without notice.
We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without liability.
The App and all of its content (including but not limited to text, images, icons, logos, code, and software) are the property of us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use this content without authorization.
WalkTask is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties regarding its fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance. We are not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use WalkTask.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WalkTask is registered. Any disputes related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If there are significant changes, we will notify you via in-app notifications or other means. Your continued use of WalkTask constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
